A Cause That Hits Close to Home
As the demand for accessible mental health care continues to rise across Palm Beach County, The Center for Family Services has become a lifeline for countless families. Economic uncertainty, trauma, and mental health disparities don’t discriminate, and for over 60 years, the Center has met these challenges with grace, empathy, and professional care.
This year’s luncheon was more than just a fundraiser—it was a call to action.
“People don’t always see the struggles that happen behind the gates,” said one attendee. “But the need is real, and that’s why we’re here.”
Alana Stewart Brings Heart to the Spotlight
Headlining this year’s event was actress, author, and passionate philanthropist Alana Stewart, who took the stage with disarming warmth and honesty. Known for her leadership at The Farrah Fawcett Foundation, Stewart spoke candidly about turning loss into legacy, and how her work has helped fund cancer research and bring comfort to countless lives.
“She’s the real deal,” one guest remarked. “She’s walked the hard road—and she brings others along with her.”
Handbags, Glamour, and Generosity
True to its name, the Old Bags Luncheon™ featured a silent auction of new and gently loved designer handbags—from timeless Hermès classics to statement pieces by Chanel and Louis Vuitton. But this wasn’t just about couture; it was about community. Each bid helped fund critical programs that support mental and emotional wellness for families in need.
Designer Jada Loveless, the 2025 “It Bag” honoree, wowed guests with her luxurious creations—think American Alligator, Porosus Crocodile, and clasps adorned in 18K gold and semi-precious stones. Her bags, like the event itself, were works of art with purpose.

Notables such as Kathy Hilton, Audrey Gruss, Jamee Gregory, Ramona Singer, and Kimberly Guilfoyle (nominee for U.S. Ambassador to Greece) mingled with longtime supporters and new advocates alike.
