NYC Second Chance Rescue’s 2nd Annual “Pawparazzi” Benefit Lights Up East Hampton
NYC Second Chance Rescue held its 2nd Annual Hamptons benefit, Pawparazzi, presented by Margit Brandt Palm Beach and London Jewelers, at The Baker House 1650 in East Hampton. The event honored the remarkable animal advocacy and contributions of Candy Udell and Zach Erdem, and was graciously hosted by the charming Brandon Colón.
The benefit included an impersonator concert for charity, featuring Athena Reich as Lady Gaga, helping raise funds for dogs and cats in need. Guests continued to dance the evening away to music by DJ DIMATTEO.
Notable Attendees
Notable attendees included Margit Brandt, Blair Brandt, Joe Gatto, Bessy Gatto, Dylan Lauren, Melissa Gorga, Joe Gorga, Ramona Singer, Jennifer Parker, Elizabeth Bowden, Kingsley Crawford, Candy Udell, Zach Erdem, Leesa Rowland, Larry Wohl, Alie Mitchell, Fern Mallis, Ian Duke, Chloe Malas, Soren White, Brandon Colón, Avra Hart, and Athena Reich as Lady Gaga.
A Cause Made Visible Through Celebration
What continues to distinguish Pawparazzi from a typical charity gala is how directly its playful theme ties back to its mission. Turning the evening into a red carpet style celebration, complete with a Lady Gaga tribute performance, gives supporters a genuinely fun reason to show up, while keeping the spotlight firmly on the dogs and cats the funds are meant to help.
The organization extends heartfelt thanks to its presenting sponsors, Margit Brandt Palm Beach and London Jewelers. AV sponsorship was provided by Margit Brandt Palm Beach. Table sponsors for the event included Animal Ashram, Signature Premier Properties, and NestSeekers International, with special thanks to Hamptons Hospitality, Ambient Events, and MHz Media Group.
Bar sponsors for the event included Bottle Hampton, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Hampton Water, Bridgehampton Breeze, and Codigo 1530. Dessert sponsorship was provided by Tate’s Bake Shop, floral design by Designs by Mark Masone, and healthy snacks by Scott’s Protein Balls. Social Life Magazine served as media sponsor.
About NYC Second Chance Rescue
NYC Second Chance Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2009. With the generous contributions of its dedicated community of donors and supporters, the organization has successfully saved more than 14,000 lives from an unimaginable fate. Its primary focus is on large breed dogs and animals in need of critical, life saving care, since these two categories represent the majority of euthanasias across the United States. Nine out of ten animals that enter NYC Second Chance Rescue were originally slated for euthanasia at municipal shelters. Through its foster care system and brick and mortar shelter, the organization provides comprehensive medical care and a nurturing, secure sanctuary for all pets in its care.
