Editorial Standards and Corrections

Impact Wealth covers family offices, business, investing, philanthropy and luxury living. These standards explain how we prepare articles, identify commercial relationships and respond when a reader spots a problem.

Who is responsible for an article?

Articles should carry a byline that identifies the writer or editorial team responsible. Author pages should describe relevant background and link to work or professional profiles where useful. A contributor’s byline does not mean that every claim has been independently tested by that person. We do not assign credentials or first-hand experience that an author does not have.

Sources and claims

We prefer primary sources for material facts: company and regulatory filings, official statements, original research, direct interviews and documents that readers can inspect. We link to these sources when possible. A company press release or interview is evidence of what that source said; it is not independent proof of every claim in it. For consequential financial, legal or health claims, articles should make the source and limits of the information clear.

Private-company valuations and a person’s net worth are often estimates. We identify the source and method when an estimate is used, explain uncertainty, and remove precise figures that cannot be supported. We do not present an unsourced number as a confirmed fact.

Editing, dates and updates

Editors may revise copy for accuracy, clarity and relevance. A substantial correction should explain what changed and when, especially if the original version could have misled readers. The date of an update should reflect a real editorial review, not a cosmetic change to make an old article look new. We check time-sensitive claims again when revising a story.

Corrections and reader feedback

If you find a factual error, please email info@impactwealth.org with the article URL, the claim in question and a source we can review. We will assess the evidence and correct or clarify the article where warranted. A correction may appear in the article when the change is material; small spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a note.

Commercial content and links

A paid article, placement or material commercial relationship should be identified clearly to readers. Our standard is to qualify paid outbound links with rel="sponsored" (or nofollow where appropriate). Payment does not buy a factual claim, an editorial endorsement or a guaranteed search ranking. We assess submissions for fit with Impact Wealth’s readers and may decline content that does not meet our standards. See our Resource Guide contributor guidelines.

How to use our coverage

Our articles are general information. They are not a substitute for advice tailored to your legal, tax, investment or medical circumstances. Sources, dates and assumptions matter; check them before making a consequential decision.
