Tudor watch pricing has become more interesting as the brand has expanded its modern collections and the pre-owned market has developed clearer patterns. If you are considering a Tudor today, you can find meaningful differences between official retail prices and secondary-market values, so the reference you choose matters considerably.

Current market data also points to a stronger year for Tudor, although individual models continue to perform quite differently. The WatchCharts Tudor Market Index reached $3,820 in July 2026, which represented a 15.3% increase over the previous year.

What current Tudor prices tell you

If you want to discover Tudor prices on the market, it helps to compare official retail figures with current secondary-market estimates, as this gives you a clearer picture of what buyers actually pay. The Black Bay 54 currently starts at $4,475 on rubber and reaches $4,725 on steel, while the Black Bay 58 ranges from $4,975 to $5,350 across several steel and rubber configurations. The Pelagos 39 sits at $5,625, so these figures provide useful new-watch benchmarks.

Pre-owned values can sit considerably below those official figures, giving you an important point of comparison when shopping. WatchCharts currently puts the Black Bay 54 at roughly $3,828 on the secondary market, so a buyer can potentially save close to $900 against the steel-bracelet retail price. That gap matters because depreciation varies significantly across references and it also explains why experienced buyers often compare several listings before committing to a particular Tudor.

Why the Black Bay remains important

The Black Bay remains one of the clearest benchmarks for understanding Tudor pricing, as its popularity gives you several closely related references to compare. The collection includes the Black Bay 54, Black Bay 58, GMT, Chronograph and other variants, so demand can differ significantly between watches that share the same family name. The current Black Bay 58 has also received technical updates, including a thinner case and Master Chronometer certification, giving the latest generation a stronger specification.

The Black Bay GMT shows why popularity does not automatically translate into strong value retention, as its current secondary price sits well below retail. WatchCharts puts reference 79830RB at about $3,054 against a $5,275 retail price as of July 2026, so its estimated value retention is -42.1%. That result gives you a useful reminder that Tudor value appreciation depends on the specific reference, market demand and supply levels rather than the reputation of the collection alone.

Availability can influence prices

Availability can have a noticeable effect on Prices because buyers tend to negotiate differently when several identical watches are readily available. A widely stocked current model can face stronger competition among sellers, so its secondary value often remains below retail. A discontinued reference can develop a different dynamic if collectors become interested in its particular proportions, dial, movement or historical position within the Tudor catalog. That distinction makes availability an important consideration whenever you assess Tudor value appreciation over time.

The current Black Bay 58 illustrates this point particularly well because Tudor offers numerous configurations, so buyers have plenty of choice. Retail prices currently range from $4,975 for certain rubber versions to $5,350 for selected steel-bracelet models, while the Black Bay 58 GMT reaches $5,650. This broad range means you should compare the exact reference and specification before judging Prices, as two watches carrying the Black Bay 58 name can have noticeably different market positions.

Which Tudor models retain value?

Some Tudor references have demonstrated stronger recent performance because scarcity and collector interest can create unusually firm demand. WatchCharts reported that the vintage Tudor Submariner collection gained 6.3% during the first quarter of 2026, with reference 79090 rising 18.4% during that period. Reference 9411 performed even more strongly over the previous year, gaining 57%, so these figures demonstrate how vintage Tudor watches can behave very differently from current production models.

You should therefore treat Tudor value appreciation as a reference-specific question, since a strong brand-wide figure does not mean every watch has gained value. WatchCharts shows that the Tudor Black Bay Steel reference 79730 increased 9.2% during the year to May 2026, representing a solid result even though its five-year performance remained slightly negative. That combination illustrates how short-term momentum can coexist with longer-term depreciation, so you should examine several time periods before drawing conclusions.

What affects the pre-owned market?

Condition remains important when you compare pre-owned Tudor watches, as a clean example with its original box, papers, bracelet links and service history can attract more confidence from buyers. Production status also matters because discontinued references can become harder to source when demand rises. Case condition, dial originality, movement condition and service history can all influence the final transaction price, so you should inspect the complete package before deciding that one listing represents the true market value.

Liquidity also deserves attention because the easiest watch to sell is not always the watch with the highest theoretical value. WatchCharts reports substantial sales activity for the Black Bay GMT reference 79830RB, with 2,542 sales during the preceding year and a median selling time of 24.8 days. That information gives you a useful perspective because a liquid Tudor can be easier to buy or sell at a competitive market price, even when its overall value retention is modest.

Where could Tudor prices go next?

The latest data suggests that Tudor prices have gained momentum during 2026, so the secondary market currently looks healthier than its longer-term figures might suggest. The Tudor Market Index is up 15.3% over one year and 7.0% over six months, but it remains 15.6% below its five-year level. That contrast matters because the recent recovery has been substantial, yet the broader market has not returned to its earlier peak.

For you as a buyer, the most useful approach is to compare retail pricing with recent secondary transactions, availability and long-term performance, so you can understand what you are actually paying for. Tudor value appreciation is strongest when demand remains durable and supply stays relatively constrained, but that outcome cannot be assumed for every reference. Current Prices therefore tell only part of the story, while model selection, condition, provenance and liquidity complete the picture.
