The Crane Club in Manhattan shimmered with purpose and glamour on the evening of June 23rd, as over 200 philanthropic tastemakers gathered for Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation’s 7th Annual Young Angels Gala – an evening that fused elegance with impact, raising more than $300,000 for cutting-edge cancer research and music therapy programs.
Hosted by FOX5 News Anchor Bianca Peters, the sold-out affair drew New York’s most driven young professionals, philanthropists, and creatives. Against the backdrop of the city skyline, guests united for a cause close to many hearts: to fund critical research in the fight against cancer, particularly blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma.

The evening paid tribute to two industry luminaries whose commitment to the cause has left a lasting mark. Kyle Lutnick, Executive Vice Chairman of Cantor Fitzgerald, and Andrea DiNunzio, General Manager of Ultra-Luxury Skincare and Fragrance at Coty USA, were recognized for their tireless advocacy and philanthropic leadership.
“This award holds more significance than I can fully express,” said Lutnick, addressing the audience. “The profound toll that blood cancer takes on patients and their loved ones has been a driving force behind my unwavering support for this organization and its vital mission.”
DiNunzio echoed the emotional resonance of the moment. “I accept this award in memory of loved ones lost, in solidarity with those still fighting, and with deep gratitude for the researchers who refuse to give up. Together, we are changing the future of cancer—one breakthrough at a time.”
The evening was generously sponsored by Cantor Fitzgerald, Tommy Bahama, LVH Global, and Double O Fragrance. Guests sipped craft cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, The Macallan, and LALO Tequila, and savored fine wines courtesy of Wölffer Estate. Artistry came alive through live fashion illustrations by the renowned Deanna First, and DJ Chloe Jane kept energy high with an inspired set that matched the night’s electric mood.
Culinary highlights included freshly shucked oysters from East Hampton Oyster Shucker, offering guests a taste of summer indulgence with a philanthropic twist.
A silent and art auction launched earlier this month added another dimension of giving, with highlights including a luxury stay at Impression Isla Mujeres, vibrant hand-painted chairs by artists Jason Naylor and Ross Pino, and covetable items from Jimmy Choo, L’AGENCE, and Round Hill Hotel Jamaica. The online auctions remain live at charitybuzz.com/gabrielles and onecau.se/_9ts9w1, extending the evening’s impact.
The evening was orchestrated by a dynamic committee of over 30 passionate young leaders, with Founding Chairs Ayaan Ahmed, Becca Morris, Hugh Barton, Louie Torrellas, and Lydia Maltseva setting the tone for the next generation of changemakers.
A Celebration of Hope
“Our young professionals are the hope for the future,” said Denise Rich, Founder of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation. “Their passion ensures that Gabrielle’s legacy lives on through every dollar raised, every grant awarded, and every life saved.”
Rich, whose daughter Gabrielle tragically lost her life to leukemia, reminded guests of the event’s greater purpose: “New treatments, new drugs and cures are going to come from research. By funding the very best and brightest young scientists, we are giving patients the best hope for a cure. If my daughter Gabrielle were diagnosed today, with the progress made in the past two decades, I believe she would have survived.”

In a city known for its style and speed, the Young Angels Gala stood out as a night that married elegance with empathy, luxury with legacy. More than a fundraiser, it was a statement—that when science, philanthropy, and community converge, real change is not only possible—it’s inevitable.
For those unable to attend, donations and auction bids are still being accepted online, helping to advance a cause that continues to save lives and shape the future of cancer care.
