One of the Hamptons’ most anticipated philanthropic celebrations of the summer returns on Saturday, July 25, as the Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) hosts its annual School’s Out Benefit in Water Mill. Blending star-studded entertainment with a powerful mission, the evening raises critical funds for the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit organization dedicated to serving LGBTQIA+ youth.
This year’s celebration promises an unforgettable lineup, headlined by dance music legend Crystal Waters, whose iconic hits continue to energize dance floors around the world. Guests will also enjoy performances by the genre-defying duo LION BABE and rising artist Jamie Hannah, creating a soundtrack worthy of one of the Hamptons’ premier summer soirées.
Beyond the performances, attendees can look forward to an elegant evening featuring cocktails, dinner, synchronized swimmers, and a lively auction, all in support of HMI’s life-changing programs. The event is expected to draw an influential crowd of philanthropists, business leaders, and entertainment personalities, with notable supporters including Andy Cohen, Ross Mathews, Tamron Hall, Dorinda Medley, and Kelly Killoren Bensimon, along with additional celebrity guests and hosts to be announced.
For more than four decades, School’s Out has become a defining event on the East End’s summer social calendar, bringing together the community to champion LGBTQIA+ youth through mentorship, education, mental health resources, housing support, and other essential services that empower young people to thrive.
As the Hamptons season reaches its peak, School’s Out once again demonstrates that the region’s most memorable gatherings are those where glamour and generosity come together for meaningful impact.
