Under the golden light of a Hamptons summer evening, NYC Second Chance Rescue welcomed guests to an elegant midsummer gathering at the Southampton Social Club. The private event brought together animal lovers, philanthropists, and longtime supporters to celebrate compassion and community, all while building momentum for the organization’s highly anticipated August 8th Hamptons Gala.
Held in the heart of Southampton, the Social Club’s lush garden space provided the perfect setting. Guests enjoyed seasonal bites and handcrafted cocktails, including pours of BIATCH Tequila, as they mingled under the stars. The evening was filled with heartfelt conversations, laughter, and stories from the NYC Second Chance Rescue team, who shared highlights from recent rescue missions and life-saving efforts.
This event served not only as a celebration, but as a reminder of the power of second chances. Many attendees pledged support for the August 8th gala, which promises to be one of the most meaningful fixtures on the summer social calendar.
Notable guests in attendance included Alexandra Daddario, Jennifer Brooks, Lisa Blanco, Lisa Rose, Kate McEntee, Kingsley Crawford, Kenneth and Maria Fishel, Leesa Rowland, Larry Wohl, Marc Loeb, Missy Hargraves, Pious and Enzo Weinberg, Ian Duke, and “Aunt” Sue Hrib.
Founded in 2009, NYC Second Chance Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has saved over 16,000 animals, focusing on large breed dogs and those requiring critical medical care. With the help of its foster network and shelter facility, the group provides vital treatment and a safe haven to pets that were once facing euthanasia.
As the night drew to a close, the atmosphere buzzed with warmth and anticipation. With strong energy and community spirit behind it, NYC Second Chance Rescue’s August gala is poised to be a celebration of hope, transformation, and the enduring belief that every life deserves a second chance.
