Oscar De La Renta once said, “Fashion is about dressing according to what’s fashionable. Style is more about being yourself.” Dudley Rayborn stands out in the world of fashion for helping men and women truly connect with themselves to reflect a sophisticated sense of self and personalized style. The process of carefully crafting the perfect look for an individual is an experience with Dudly Rayborn. After an initial appointment is set up and evaluation is completed, the third step of measuring in the detailed process of bespoke tailoring occurs. The tailored suits which are created from a selection of over 10,000 Italian and English fabrics are then delivered to the doorsteps of clients looking to find an authentic look to reflect their persona. Rayborn prides himself on establishing relationships with luxury cloth and shirting fabrics and working directly with these mills to get quality fabrics such as Gladson Ltd., Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil, Scabal, Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Thomas Mason.

Rayborn values his knowledge on different fabrics such as cashmere and vicuna, known as one of the most luxurious fabrics in the world. It is the fabric that dictates the price of an outfit and Rayborn’s successful relationships with the mills allow him to have access and immediacy in obtaining some of the most unique fabrics in the industry. Continuously educating himself, Rayborn attends the semiannual Custom Tailors Design Association meetings where all the mills congregate annually to discuss the newest fabrics and newest trends in the industry. In addition, he attends the New York and Chicago Men’s shows.
Understanding style is important to the mission of Dudley Rayborn. “I go into a client’s closet and I might say, ‘What are you wearing? What are you not wearing? Why are you not wearing this?’ I am a firm believer that your wardrobe should be created like an investment, you want to get a return on the money you are spending. Not so much what the fashion is, fashion has its place, and it is important. But style is a lifestyle,” said Rayborn.
