Evan Hafer Net Worth: $28.3M in Disclosed BRCC Holdings

by Kaleem Khan

in Net Worth
Evan Hafer Net Worth

Evan Hafer’s complete personal net worth is not publicly disclosed. The clearest measurable piece is about $28.3 million in Black Rifle Coffee–related equity at the October 16, 2026 closing price. That figure is our calculation from the latest available SEC Form 4 and BRCC’s $10.09 closing price on October 16. It is a snapshot of disclosed holdings, not a verified estimate of his entire net worth or the amount of cash in his account.

If you have seen estimates in the hundreds of millions, check the share count and date. Black Rifle Coffee completed a 1-for-10 reverse stock split in August 2026. Multiplying an old, pre-split share count by a newer, post-split price could exaggerate the apparent stake by a factor of ten. There is a second trap: the filing lists Class B shares and matching common units in the operating company. They represent an exchangeable pair, not two separate pots of economic wealth.

Evan Hafer net worth: the number we can check

  • Publicly disclosed BRCC-related position: 2,798,533 common units held indirectly through EKNRH Holdings LLC, paired with Class B voting shares, plus 8,000 directly held Class A shares as shown on the October 15 Form 4.
  • Reference stock price: $10.09 per BRCC Class A share at the October 16 close.
  • Arithmetic: (2,798,533 + 8,000) × $10.09 = $28,317,917.97, or about $28.3 million.
  • What it does not cover: proceeds of earlier share sales, cash, other investments or property, private assets, debts, taxes, and any other economic arrangements involving the holding company.

The exchange right in the SEC filing lets the holder exchange one operating-company common unit, with a corresponding Class B share surrendered, for one Class A share or its cash value at the company’s election. The Class B shares themselves have voting rights but no economic rights in BRC Inc. The 8,000 Class A shares are a distinct direct holding. That is why the calculation counts each common unit once, includes the direct Class A shares once, and does not add the matching Class B shares a second time.

Why the reverse split changes the math

The company’s August 2026 SEC filing says each ten pre-split Class A shares became one post-split share, and the same 1-for-10 treatment applied to Class B. Trading began on a split-adjusted basis on August 24. Hafer’s October Form 4 explicitly says its amounts already reflect the split.

For illustration, an investor with 10 million shares priced at $1 has a $10 million gross stake. After a 1-for-10 reverse split, the investor has one million shares priced at $10, still $10 million before any market move. If someone used the old 10 million share count and the new $10 price, they would report $100 million by mistake. The example is only to explain the arithmetic; it is not Hafer’s actual position.

Share prices do move after a split, so our $28.3 million figure also moves with BRCC stock and any later trades. It should be read as a dated valuation of a reported interest, not a timeless personal wealth ranking. A minority holder might also receive less than the screen price in a large sale, depending on timing, restrictions and market liquidity.

How did Hafer build the Black Rifle Coffee business?

Black Rifle Coffee identifies Hafer as its founder and executive chairman. He served as chief executive from the company’s founding until December 2023, then moved into the chairman role. The company grew from a veteran-founded coffee brand into a business selling through direct-to-consumer channels, retail partners and its own outlets. The business’s public listing makes one part of his ownership visible in a way most private-founder profiles are not.

That distinction matters for Impact Wealth readers comparing founders. MJ DeMarco’s own net-worth disclosure offers a self-reported total but little independently priced private equity. Hafer’s SEC filing gives a reported equity position that can be marked to a market price, while still leaving the rest of his personal balance sheet unknown. Neither method should be confused with cash received from a business sale.

Hafer’s indirect units are held through EKNRH Holdings LLC. The SEC form identifies the reporting relationship; it does not publish his household assets or certify that the full marked value would be available to him personally after obligations. That is the limit of what a public-company filing can answer.

What about stock sales and salary?

The October Form 4 records exchanges of some common units for Class A shares and sales of the resulting shares under a trading plan. A sale can turn part of an equity holding into cash, subject to costs and tax; it does not automatically mean personal wealth fell by the full sale value. The filing does not reveal what happened to earlier sale proceeds. Nor can we add an undisclosed salary or private investment portfolio to create a precise total.

The practical lesson is to separate company value, gross public stake, cash proceeds and personal net worth. A founder can have voting influence without owning the same percentage of economic value. Frequently asked questions

What is Evan Hafer’s net worth in 2026?

There is no verified public total. The October 15 SEC filing implies about $28.3 million in disclosed, share-equivalent BRCC interests at the October 16 closing price. His actual net worth may be higher or lower after other assets and liabilities.

Does Hafer own Black Rifle Coffee outright?

No. It is a publicly traded company with other shareholders. Hafer founded it and remains executive chairman; his filing reports a large indirect interest and a smaller direct Class A holding.

Did the reverse stock split make him ten times richer?

No. The 1-for-10 split reduced the number of shares while adjusting the per-share price. Economic value depends on the market price and the correctly adjusted share count.

Why do online net-worth numbers differ so much?

Some may use different dates or prices, rely on pre-split share counts, treat votes as economic ownership, or guess at private assets. Without a full personal asset-and-debt statement, no single online total is verified.

Editorial method: Impact Wealth calculated a dated gross equity marker from the October 15 SEC Form 4 and the October 16 closing price. We count the common units once, exclude matching Class B votes from economic value, and include the distinct 8,000 direct Class A shares. This is not a personal balance-sheet audit or investment advice. Reviewed October 19, 2026.
