Following the sale of Agnetha at the Monaco Yacht Show, Heesen Yachts has released new details on Project Frida, the latest hull in its respected 55 metre Steel series. Scheduled for delivery in February 2025, Frida is one of the only Dutch built yachts of her size available on a fast timeline, making her a rare opportunity for buyers who do not want to enter a long construction cycle.
Frida carries the clean, sculpted profile that defines Heesen’s steel fleet. Her proportions strike a balance between power and restraint, large enough to deliver the comfort of a full displacement yacht yet compact enough to enter smaller Mediterranean ports that many superyachts cannot access. Built for global cruising, she is engineered for range, stability, and quiet passage.

The interior, designed by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, blends soft neutral tones with mahogany and darker accents for a contemporary look grounded in classic yacht craft. Frida accommodates twelve guests in six suites, including an eighty six square metre owner’s suite on the main deck. Thirteen crew ensure a high level of service for both private and charter use.
Outdoor living is central to the layout. A one hundred ten square metre sundeck with jacuzzi offers expansive open air space, while the swim platform and beach club create an easy connection to the water for diving, lounging, and tender access.

Below the surface, Frida incorporates the Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen, known for its efficiency and low fuel consumption. Powered by two MTU 4000 M63 engines, she reaches a top speed of fifteen and a half knots with long range capability.
With availability confirmed for Q2 2025, Project Frida stands out as a turn key Northern European yacht in a market where demand for swift delivery continues to rise. For buyers seeking pedigree, performance, and immediate enjoyment, Frida is positioned as one of the most compelling options of the moment.
