Over the past year, people’s lives around the world have been drastically changed and forever altered. Priorities shifted as COVID-19 made its way into every corner of our lives, and an emphasis was strongly placed on health, clean air, and safety. Even as good news from companies like Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson comes through, families and individuals are left with an uncertain future. Questions about mutations, variations, pollution overall, and even ultra fine particles are permeating our subconscious as we wonder if there is a way to combat and maintain a certain level of cleanliness even beyond the pandemic. That is where Torsten Maehle comes in. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of Vaxxinator USA, a revolutionary bio-tech products company that researches, develops, manufactures, and distributes proprietary and patented anti-viral products under the brand ATMOFIZER and PURIFENSE.
Torsten is a clean air technology innovator and visionary in the air purification space. One of his products, Atmofizer, is a game changer, and is the only purification device that eliminates COVID-19 altogether, in addition to other ultra fine particles. If this past year has taught us anything, it’s that we can’t be fully sure of what’s lurking in the air. So, Impact Wealth sat down with Torsten to discuss his background, his company, and what trends he sees moving forward.
IW: How did your background in the special events industry set the groundwork for the rest of your professional career? And how did you get involved with Atmofizer?
TM: Aside from working long hours, the event industry taught me to constantly improvise and come up with creative solutions, fast! At the beginning of the global pandemic, members of Professor Luthe’s team reached out to me to talk to me about the opportunities this could pose in the American market. We had numerous video calls, inked a partnership during the summer and started working on bringing this fascinating technology to market.
IW: How are you able to navigate what seems like a crowded market in the air purifying space during COVID-19?
TM: Our German technology is superior to anything on the market in terms of filtering capability, sustainability (no filters needed), and energy efficiency. Also, our patented technology is going to be easily integrated into HVAC systems, cars, planes, and spaceships.
IW: Could air quality concerns be one of the keys to getting life back to normal after COVID-19?
TM: Absolutely, aerosols are supposed to be responsible for 70% of COVID-19’s transmission. Going forward air quality, especially in indoor spaces, will concern everybody. True clean and effective air technology is what the world needs. No systems that have dramatic shortcomings or ionization technologies that emit radicals, ozone or carcinogens into the air – even in low amounts.
IW: What’s one trend that excites you?
TM: The growing interest for sustainability and the desire to solve our real world problems; clean air, polluted oceans and overabundance of trash.
IW: If you had any advice to give to your younger self, what would it be?
TM: Focus on one thing at the time. You can have it all but not all at once.
