The Peninsula London: A Luxury Hotel 30 Years in the Making

Luxury hotels in London are flourishing despite pandemic delays. The Peninsula London, a 30-year dream, recently opened its doors. With stunning views, luxurious rooms, and unique dining options, it’s set to redefine luxury in the city.

A Long-Awaited Arrival: After decades of anticipation, The Peninsula London welcomes guests. The iconic red blindfolds on Chinese stone lions were removed on September 12th, marking its grand opening. Uniformed pages stand ready to greet visitors.

Luxury Beyond Compare: This five-star hotel offers 190 rooms, 25 luxury residences, a rooftop restaurant, and a spa with a 25-meter indoor swimming pool. Rates start at £1,300 per night, making it a highly anticipated property.

Aesthetic Harmony: Located near Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park Corner, the hotel seamlessly blends with Belgravia’s historic architecture. Its courtyard, designed by landscape architect Enzo Enea, boasts wisteria vines and ancient Japanese maples.

Luxury Fleet: Guests can enjoy a luxury fleet of cars, including a vintage Rolls-Royce Sedanca de Ville from 1935, a Rolls-Royce Phantom II, a Bentley Bentayga, and an electrified Austin Healy taxi.

Exceptional Rooms: Rooms feature original Royal gardens-themed artwork, opulent bathrooms, and dressing rooms with thoughtful amenities. A unique valet box allows discreet service without disturbing guests.

PenChat Concierge: A 24-hour private e-concierge service, PenChat, is available. British designer Jenny Packham designed the bespoke staff uniforms.

Dining Excellence: The hotel boasts exceptional dining options. Brooklands, the rooftop restaurant led by chef Claude Bosi, celebrates British aviation and motorsport. Canton Blue, inspired by the Keying, offers a fusion of Asian and British flavors. The Lobby is perfect for afternoon tea with live music.

Upcoming Additions: The spa, featuring various treatments and a 25-meter pool, and a grand ballroom accommodating up to 450 people, will open soon. Two car-sized elevators add to the hotel’s unique offerings.

The Peninsula London is not just a hotel; it’s an experience that promises to stand out in London and globally for generations to come.
