The Bridge Where Automotive Legends Converge in Style

The 1987 Porsche 962, securing fourth place overall at Le Mans, made a resounding statement of Porsche’s endurance racing prowess. These vintage treasures, along with a collection of Porsches celebrating the manufacturer’s 75th anniversary, created a visual symphony that captivated attendees.

More than an exhibition, The Bridge is an immersive experience. While guests feasted their eyes on these automotive marvels, they also savored a variety of culinary delights and exquisite cocktails from Smorgasberg.
The Bridge VII would not have been possible without the generous support of its partners. The presenting sponsor for The Bridge VII is Richard Mille. Partners of the event include: NetJets, ZEGNA, Merrill, Bonhams, Technogym, Alcantara, Bespoke Real Estate, Topping, Rose House, Lamborghini, Bentley Motors, Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Czinger Vehicles, McLaren, Pagani, Bugatti, Zenvo Automotive, Bollinger
Motors, Lucid, Gateway Bronco, Automobili Pininfarina, Polestar, Morgan Motor Company, The Little Car Company, Sacrilege Motors, Eccentrica, Bizzarrini, Cincoro, and Google.

The Bridge, one of the automotive world’s most illustrious events, recently returned to the idyllic surroundings of Bridgehampton, creating a haven for vintage car enthusiasts and those that appreciate the beauty of a rare luxury. The seventh edition, aptly named The Bridge VII, took place as usual in late September, a time that is typically one of the most beautiful times of year for the area. Though this time around hazardous weather conditions led to the cancellation of the main Bridge VII events scheduled for Saturday. A quick and brilliant pivot however expanded the planned Friday evening Collectors Reception, and once again the iconic hills of The Bridge golf club were transformed into a showcase of the world’s most rare automobiles and elegance.

At its core, The Bridge is a celebration of rare and iconic race cars that have left an indelible mark in motorsport history. Among these legends was the 1954 Ferrari 250 GT Competition Lightweight Berlinetta, ararity with only four ever manufactured and two still in existence. This historic vehicle once raced the original grounds of The Bridge, symbolizing the event’s dedication to preserving automotive heritage.

The Bridge is the brainchild of Robert Rubin, owner of the Bridgehampton Race Circuit and founder of The Bridge golf club. To gather with event organizers Shamin Abas, President of Shamin Abas Communications & Experiential marketing, and Jeffrey Einhorn, a Manhattan-based attorney and enthusiast, they have crafted an event that transcends the boundaries of automotive exhibitions.
