On Saturday, July 27th, Project Zero and Montauk Beach House collaborated for a beach clean-up at Nick’s Beach, located at 3 South Edison St, one of Montauk’s busiest beaches. Following the cleanup, attendees enjoyed a Slim Aarons-themed pool party and art auction fundraiser at Montauk Beach House (MBH).
The event began with a successful beach cleanup, drawing over 30 participants who collected four bags of trash in less than an hour. A Topo Chico van transported the waste to the Montauk Recycling Center, while Alexandra Richards saved select items for a future art piece to be auctioned at next year’s Project Zero fundraiser in the Hamptons.
The art auction and Slim Aarons-themed after-party at Montauk Beach House also celebrated Alexandra’s birthday. Her birthday wish was for guests to donate to Project Zero, supporting efforts to save the ocean’s coral reefs. The event featured music from Alexandra and DJ Brandi Cyrus. Notable auction items included a mystery painting by Baron Von Fancy, two Dime Club tickets to a 2024-25 NY Islanders Game with Heineken delivery, Lala Pajamas, a James Goldcrown painting, and a customized surfboard. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Project Zero.
This year’s beach cleanup and fundraiser received sponsorship from Heineken 0.0, ClareRose Inc., Herbivore, Brady Hunter Foundation, Topo Chico, and Dr. Greenberg Cosmetics.
This event marked Project Zero’s second annual beach clean-up in the Hamptons. Last year, the organization cleaned Indian Wells Beach in Amagansett, culminating in a fundraiser where Alexandra Richards and Christie Brinkley unveiled a Garia Car painted by renowned artist Bradley Theodore.
