Each moon phase shows the illuminated and shadow parts of the moon at any particular time with the light of the sun. Each one of the 125 is named after a person who, at some point in history, I subjectively deemed as making a tremendous contribution to human society. They span a wide range of human history, from all different cultures, sexualities, and ethnic groups, from Buddha to Muhammad Ali, Plato, Leonardo da Vinci, and the list goes on.”
