BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY – September 17, 2024 – Under the warmth of the golden September sun and the clear blue skies, The Bridge’s eighth iteration offered a final taste of summer as it unfolded on Saturday. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the storied fairways at The Bridge, the event welcomed automotive enthusiasts, collectors, and connoisseurs for an unforgettable celebration of some of the world’s most coveted and rarely seen automobiles. Guests sipped cocktails and enjoyed culinary delights from Smorgasburg as they strolled the greens to enjoy the artful display of over 300 vehicles, making for an extraordinary day of performance and luxury.
Presenting sponsor Richard Mille captivated guests with a unique visual presentation in their pro shop lounge, showcasing images of their esteemed athlete brand partners—Rafael Nadal, Charles Leclerc, Bubba Watson, and Nelly Korda—athletes who embody the precision and excellence associated with Richard Mille timepieces. A putting green offered attendees the opportunity to engage with the brand in a fun and interactive way.
This year’s event also saw the return of notable sponsors, including Merrill, a Bank of America Company; Bespoke Real Estate, Technogym, Czinger Vehicles, Rimac Automobili, Gunther Werks, Google, and KARMA. Merrill offered a luxurious respite for guests at the Bridge Beach lounge, created in partnership with Roche Bobois. KARMA showcased its innovative vehicles, including the Kaveya Electric Super Coupe, the Revero extended range sedan, and the Ivara GT-UV, which debuted at The Quail earlier this year. Czinger Vehicles drew attention with their 3D printed chassis displayed alongside the 21C V Max in Mojave Gold. Eccentrica also made a splash with Founder Emanuel Colombini, who presented the “fully-roar and ready-to-fly” Eccentrica V12, a restomod that celebrates the Lamborghini Diablo’s spirit while elevating it with modern engineering and performance. Rimac Automobili made a statement in the coveted Bridge Next zone, highlighting ultra-low production, cutting-edge manufacturers. Technogym shared their top-of-the-line equipment with guests, aligning with Italian furniture manufacturer, Moroso, to pair their indoor/outdoor sets with Technogym Active Sitting Wellness Balls to create a lounge space.
Several new partners also made their debut at The Bridge this year, including VistaJet, Sotheby’s, and Velocity Black. Guests were immersed in the world of VistaJet through interactive displays and exclusive keepsakes, which mirrored the luxury and unparalleled service that VistaJet Members enjoy onboard. FariCars impressed with their luxury Mercedes-Benz van conversions, Drift Capital unveiled their recently acquired Ferrari F40, and Luminari Motor Company displayed two stunning new models on The Bridge Coachworks Lawn. Sacrilege wowed attendees with their Enigma coupe, an electrified widebody 1990 964 sunroof-delete coupe, fresh from its appearance at the 2024 Pebble Beach Concours. Other standouts included The Ferrari Testa Rossa J and The Aston Martin DB5 Junior from Hedley Galleries, and the 1991 250GD Wolf by Expedition Motor Company. Velocity Black hosted a champagne and caviar lounge in which guests lounged on Molteni&C furniture.
Sunday, September 15, saw the return of The Bridge at Topping Rose House, an intimate gathering limited to 500 guests. Held in the hotel’s picturesque gardens, the event featured a curated classic car exhibition and exquisite dishes prepared by the acclaimed Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Attendees had the unique opportunity to explore Craft + Tailored’s showcase, featuring CEO Cameron Barr’s personal 1975 Porsche 911S, affectionately known as “Jolene,” alongside a selection of curated vintage timepieces from prestigious brands. Moreover, Mojo Stumer elevated the experience with VR demonstrations, immersing guests in its award-winning modern architecture and design. Sacrilege Motors displayed one of its restored classic Porsche cars from 1974-1994 to concours-grade quality, focusing on driving dynamics, breathtaking performance, exquisite interior design, and reliable conversion to all-electric power. Proceeds from ticket sales contributed to the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, furthering the event’s commitment to the local community.
The Bridge continues to stand out from traditional concours events by offering a noncompetitive, immersive experience. There are no judges or awards—just a shared appreciation for art, design, history, and automobiles. Event co-founders Robert Rubin, owner of the Bridgehampton Race Circuit since 1981 and founder of The Bridge golf club, alongside Shamin Abas, President of Shamin Abas Communications & Experiential Marketing, and Manhattanbased litigator Jeffrey Einhorn, continue to uphold their vision of an event that celebrates the automotive world through the lens of creativity, style, and craftsmanship.
“In its eighth year, The Bridge has evolved into something truly extraordinary. Each detail, from the vehicles to the atmosphere, is a testament to the passion and vision of an exceptional team, for whom I have immense gratitude. This year’s gathering was a seamless blend of art, history, and innovation, where the contributions of our partners elevated the experience to new heights. We look forward to this weekend all year and are grateful to have been able to host our guests again for an incredible day,” said Rubin.
