The event honored The Marley Family, JUANES, and Anitta—visionary artists who have dedicated their platforms to social change, education, and youth empowerment. With an unforgettable program of star-studded performances, immersive experiences, and heartfelt tributes, the evening underscored the growing influence of high-net-worth philanthropy in shaping sustainable global change.

Music as a Force for Philanthropy and Social Good

The Playing For Change Foundation, operating in 95+ locations across 27 countries, is committed to harnessing music as a catalyst for education, empowerment, and economic opportunity. By investing in music programs that uplift underprivileged youth, PFCF provides access to education, mentorship, and cultural preservation, transforming lives through the universal language of music.

The Marley Family, led by Cedella Marley and Rohan Marley, was recognized for its tireless commitment to Bob Marley’s vision of “One Love.” Their work with the Bob and Rita Marley Foundation continues to promote peace, social justice, and economic empowerment. Chris Blackwell, the legendary Island Records founder, presented their award—only to be surprised with a special Impact Award of his own for his lifelong contributions to cultural preservation and artist development.

Latin music icon JUANES received recognition for his organization, Fundación Mi Sangre, which has empowered over two million individuals across Colombia through peacebuilding and education. Meanwhile, global superstar Anitta was honored for her advocacy in youth and music education, particularly through Instituto Playing For Change in Brazil, further highlighting the power of celebrity philanthropy in creating tangible social impact.

Elite Donors and Business Leaders Champion the Cause

The event attracted high-net-worth individuals, private equity leaders, and cultural influencers who recognize the value of strategic philanthropy. Notable attendees included Island Records founder Chris Blackwell, Grammy-winning artist Maxwell, Victoria’s Secret Angel Lais Ribeiro, NBA legend Alonzo Mourning, and Recording Academy President Panos A. Panay.  Alitza Weiss raised her paddle and donated $250k to PFC’s Fund for the Future, and along with her mother Caroline bringing the total donated to nearly $1 million to the Foundation over the last 3 years.

Luxury brands and corporate partners aligned their commitment to social good, with key sponsorships from Capital One Entertainment, Tiffany & Co., Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Jockey, and SPIN Magazine. These partnerships reinforce a growing trend among elite investors and luxury brands—leveraging their influence for global impact and sustainable development.

An Unforgettable Evening of Giving and Celebration

Guests were welcomed to the Capital One Entertainment Garden Party, an immersive Amazon-inspired experience featuring a Caipirinha Bar, exotic performers, and vibrant landscapes. The night’s powerful performances included a tribute to JUANES by GALE, a surprise performance by JUANES himself, and an electrifying set by Skip Marley, reinforcing the theme of music as a driver of change.

The celebration continued at Superblue Miami, where Cimafunk delivered an explosive after-party performance, blending funk, Afro-Cuban, Latin, and electronic sounds to keep the energy soaring into the night.

Luxury Philanthropy with Lasting Impact

As the event concluded, the message was clear: music is more than entertainment—it’s a vehicle for economic empowerment, education, and social justice. The Playing For Change Foundation continues to expand its global footprint, ensuring that philanthropic investments in the arts create real, measurable impact in underserved communities.
