Istituto Marangoni Miami (IMM) Celebrates First Annual Student Fashion Show: Metamorfosi

MIAMI, May 16, 2024 — Istituto Marangoni Miami (IMM), located in the heart of Miami’s Design District, proudly hosted its first annual student fashion show, ‘Metamorfosi’. This event highlighted the growth and evolution of its talented graduating students and marked Miami’s emergence as an international fashion and design hub.

The theme ‘Metamorfosi’ symbolizes IMM students’ transformation from academic learners to global fashion professionals, reflecting both personal and city-wide growth in design and creativity.

Mario Braghieri, Program Leader for the fashion design program at IMM, described the show as “very eclectic.” The collections showcased the diverse styles of the student body, set against Miami’s inspiring design backdrop. Each piece on the open-air runway narrated a story of innovation and personal growth.

Hakan Baykam, President and CEO of Istituto Marangoni Miami, emphasized the institution’s role in fostering the next generation of fashion talent. “We take pride in nurturing the metamorphosis of future fashion innovators,” said Baykam. “This transformation builds careers and shapes the future of fashion in Miami, propelling our city into a global fashion hub.”
