From Screen to Scene: Leesa Rowland Ushers In Hamptons Season at Marina St. Barth

Actress, author, and animal advocate Leesa Rowland welcomed the start of the Hamptons summer season with an elegant afternoon celebration at Marina St. Barth in Southampton. The occasion honored her latest cover feature in Mann About Town and brought together an array of fashion insiders, philanthropists, and friends for an afternoon of style, spirits, and social impact.

Radiating her signature charm in a colorful blue-and-pink ensemble, Rowland posed beside her magazine cover and mingled with attendees. Best known for her work on screen and in society circles, Rowland is also the founder of Animal Ashram, a nonprofit championing animal welfare and rescue initiatives.

Held at the breezy, resort-chic boutique founded by Marina Cocher, Marina St. Barth evokes the French Caribbean glamour of St. Barthélemy with locations in Southampton, East Hampton, Florida, and online. This summer’s collection features a curated mix of iconic designers and rising talent—ideal for long lunches, sunset dinners, and weekend escapes.

Guests enjoyed spirited refreshments from BIATCH Tequila, the bold, 100% woman-owned brand combining traditional Mexican craftsmanship with edgy modern branding. Wainscott Main Wine & Spirits served their signature rosé alongside a selection of seasonal pours.

Designer Carole Alexander was on hand to showcase her Alexander by Design collection, featuring hand-adorned summer handbags inspired by the Amalfi Coast. The totes—playful yet sophisticated—were a favorite among guests and perfectly aligned with the boutique’s refined aesthetic.

Notable attendees included Peter Thomas Roth, Jean Shafiroff, Victoria Schneps, Carole Alexander, Larry Wohl, Maribel Lieberman, Marina Cocher, Hank Stampfl, Donna Rubin, Pamela Morgan, Kobi Halperin, Kathy Prounis, Noreen Donovan, and financier John Paulson, who paused briefly to greet guests.

The event supported Hamptons Summer Songbook by-the-Sea, a celebrated performance series produced by Donna Rubin and Josh Gladstone of LTV, known for bringing Broadway-level talent and theatrical excellence to the East End throughout the summer.
