Fendi Kicks off NYFW into High Gear

New York, NY – February 5th, 2020 – FENDI, with Chairman & CEO, Serge Brunschwig, presented Solar Dream, the Men’s and Women’s Spring/Summer 2020 Collections conceived by FENDI Creative Director, Silvia Venturini Fendi, in its Madison Avenue FENDI boutique. The celebrities and friends of the Maison that attended included Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Katie Holmes, Miles Teller + Keleigh Teller, Katherine Langford, Tommy Dorfman, Winnie Harlow, Dylan Sprouse + Barbara Palvin, Amanda Steele, Chase Hudson, Gala Gonzalez, Iris Law, Isabella BoylstonLeigh Lezark, Maxim Magnus, Olivia Perez, Sami Miro, Shannon Hamilton, Stella Schnabel, Ugbad, Victor CruzYoung Emperors (all wearing FENDI) as well as Athena Calderone, Cipriana Quann + TK Wonder, Mafalda Saxe Coburg, Waris Ahluwalia, Zach Bia among others. DJs Coco and Breezy kicked off the night followed by beats from DJ Soo Joo Park.

Following the Solar Dream Men’s pop-up in Milan this past January during fashion week, the event previewed both Collections with a Solar Dream takeover providing a unique store experience for guests and bringing the Collections to life with an interactive digital installation. Displayed in an immersive way together for the first time as part of the FENDI world, the Collections launch globally in-store and online starting Feb 6th.

Drenched in the warmth of an Italian sunrise, FENDI’s Spring/Summer 2020 Collections chart a path of playful opulence. A sunny palette surges into acid brights from wisps of palest pink, honey and pecan, these hues are reflected throughout the Madison Avenue boutique creating a captivating Solar Dream experience on display through Monday, February 17th.

The event showcased images from the latest FENDI Women’s Spring/Summer 2020 campaign shot by photographer Nick Knight taking a new direction through his experimental lens. In keeping with FENDI’s most authentic DNA, an ironic, playful vibe echoes throughout the imagery, injected with a lively elegance – restless and a bit rebellious. Providing a photo ready moment in-store, guests photographed themselves on the spirited sets from this campaign.

The FENDI Spring/Summer 2020 Men’s collection also features an exclusive collaboration with Italian film director Luca Guadagnino. Born of a long-time friendship and history of cinematic collaboration with Silvia Venturini Fendi, Guadagnino’s role as the season’s guest artist is incorporated across all elements of the collection, inclusive of graphic prints and whimsical accessories.
