An Enchanting Evening: French Heritage Society’s Palm Beach Gala at Club Colette

A Night of Elegance and Purpose

On February 16, 2025, the French Heritage Society (FHS) hosted its annual Palm Beach Gala at Club Colette. The sold-out event brought together passionate supporters for an evening of celebration and cultural preservation. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, and dancing to the beats of DJ Brett.

Leadership and Inspiring Words

Gala Chairmen Michel Kovner and Jean Doyen de Montaillou, along with dedicated Dinner Chairmen, ensured a flawless evening. Among them were Liz McDermott Barnes, CeCe and Lee Black, Frank Morgan and Brent Feigenbaum, Jean Shafiroff, Ann and Bill Van Ness, and Kelly Williams and Andrew Forsyth.

FHS Chairman Elizabeth F. Stribling, FHS Events Chair CeCe Black, and Cultural Counselor of France to the U.S. Mohamed Bouabdallah delivered powerful speeches. Bouabdallah emphasized that cultural heritage is more than history—it is a bridge to the future that fosters global connections.

Fundraising for the Future

One of the evening’s highlights was the paddle raise, led by Hindman Executive Vice President Molly Morse Limmer. Guests enthusiastically contributed to FHS’s Education Program, now celebrating its 40th anniversary. This initiative plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of preservationists.

A Distinguished Guest List

The event welcomed notable guests, including Consul General of Miami Raphaël Trapp, Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright, and esteemed FHS Board Members Jennifer Farrell, Ronald Fleming, and Brenda Howard. Other supporters included Robb and Sara Allan, Christine and Max Ansbacher, Sharon Bush and Bob Murray, Harry and Valerie Cooper, Francine Crocker, and Tom D’Agostino and Danielle Rollins. Their presence highlighted the strong commitment to safeguarding cultural heritage.

A Memorable Evening

As the night concluded, guests departed with a sense of purpose and fulfillment. With this inspiring gala as a foundation, FHS looks forward to another year of preserving and celebrating French heritage, ensuring its beauty endures for generations to come.
